An Moorish American is a person of North African descent who was born and raised in the Americas, a descendant of the ancient Moabites, Hittites, and Canaanites.
The term is defined as:
Moorish: A Moslem who was forced to convert to Christianity in the Iberian Peninsula between the 15th and 17th centuries, and their descendants.
(Moslem: A person who submits to the will of God, considering God as the only one without partners or associates, creator of heaven and earth and everything in between. A person who respects the Quran, the Gospel, and the Torah.
Iberian Peninsula: The geographical area currently occupied by Portugal and Spain, the latter holding the larger portion, remembering that from 711 to 1487 it was conquered and ruled by the Moors.)
American: A human being Native to America. "Native" refers to someone who is native, original, or indigenous to a certain place, in this case, America.
The word "Morisco" also originates from the word "Moro," which derives from or is shortened to the word "Maurus," which in turn refers to dark (oscuro) or Moreno, used colloquially and vulgarly to denigrate people of Arab or Berber (Amazigh) origin.
America (Amexem) was primarily occupied or enslaved by the former Spanish Kingdom, which erased most of our governmental and historical documents and consciously and brutally implemented its own history, laws, and religion. They eliminated all traces of our true origins and ancestry, hiding the truth from everyone. After Spain, more kingdoms came to plunder and exploit our lands and people, until revolutions began to achieve independence and autonomy for our nations, giving rise to the first republic in the world, the United States of America (RE: thing, PUBLIC: Of All). They signed a treaty of peace and friendship with the Moroccan Empire in 1787, followed by a treaty of peace and friendship with the five original tribes of America in 1790 (from whom they learned the bicameral system of government for legislating laws: the House of Representatives and the Senate). They violated these treaties in 1830 with the issuance of the Dissolution Treaty.
On the other hand, in 1821 the United Mexican States achieved their independence thanks to the creation of the Trigger Army, with a triumphant entry into Mexico City. However, they also deceived the native peoples, promising a multicultural country that respected trade between states, foreign countries, and indigenous tribes (Article 13, Section X, of the Constitutive Act of the Federation of 1824). This promise was not respected from the beginning and was completely eliminated with the reforms of 1859, especially with the Organic Law of the Civil Registry, which obligated all inhabitants of this land to register with the civil registry, without considering their belonging or affiliation to an indigenous people or community in these records. This forcibly assimilated all native peoples with mestizos, a fact that legally changed their rights and obligations before the state.
By the grace and mercy of God, on January 8, 1886, our first Patriot, Timothy Drew, known as the Noble Drew Ali, was born. He received instruction from our brothers and sisters in the East, who bestowed upon him the knowledge of the origin and ancestry of our people, as well as the historical tools necessary to awaken our community. He recognized that our origin is North Africa, and our ancestry is that of the ancient Moors, the principal inhabitants of the northwest and southwest coasts of Africa, the Atlantic Islands, and the American Continent. Our religion is Islam, the ancient religion of Abraham, the first monotheist.
Therefore, on this page you will find more about your roots, your origin, your ancestry, and the best way to conduct yourself in life to achieve unity with your brothers and sisters. Respect the divine laws of your Creator and understand your obligations to the world to obtain the rights that will lead you to a better life, being a good national, member, affiliate, citizen, resident, etc. based on the principles of Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice.
